I'm so good! Haha it was hard to find things to talk about at the CCM and now I don't even know where to start... well I'm east East LA. I know. Haha but don't worry. The Lord has protected us several times already and I know He will continue to. "No harm comes to those on the Lord's errand". My companion and her last companion opened the mission- they were the first sisters sent here because President was too afraid to send any here before then. He told me I'm the first American sister though (woot!). Everyone in the district meeting was so surprised cause he said he'd never do it. I am literally the only white person in our whole area, besides our elders. It seems like everyone either loves us or despises us- but everyone has a strong opinion about the church. The work is hard, but so so so so worth it!! Mom. When I see the light enter their eyes and they testify that its true- it is unlike anything I've ever felt before. We had a baptism after church yesterday and another investigator has her date set for the end of February. My companion's name is Hermana Angulo- she lived her whole life in Mexico but she picked up some English words from her past nine months here. We can communicate fine most of the time. I had my first dinner appointment the night I got here, and every lesson after that I've gotten better. But the first few were pretty rough haha. They speak SO FAST. President put rules in place to keep us safe- one being that we can't walk past five, we have a car. But we love walking before then because we talk to everyone and give them pass along cards. A lot of people ask me for English lessons- so we only agree if they let us give them the discussions haha. We also have an hour of FB every day. I had to delete all my family, if you haven't noticed already. But you can get updates from Cody! We get iPads in a few weeks too, that will make email time a lot faster/easier.
